Tutanota’s free plan is pretty good. You get a decent amount of storage space included. You do have to use their first-party email clients, but they are open source and work well.
they don’t allow search on their free tier last time i checked. that put me off. did that change?
They don’t allow search for mails older than a certain amount of time (1 month or something)
