Roomba vacuum robots. Mine is almost 10 years old, I recently replaced a wheel with no issues, all parts are available both from Roomba and third party manufacturers, pretty much completely repairable with nothing but the replacement parts and a screw driver.

My roomba is almost 10 years old. We didn’t have such things back then ;) it’s also a cheap model, it just drives around randomly till it’s done.

My j7 started off great, but I had to replace the suction motor within a year because it burnt out completely. Now it’s starting to have bizarre navigation issues that require me to reboot it before use about 30% of the time, which is extremely annoying. The requirement for it to be connected to the internet all the time is just the fecal cherry on top of the hot-diarrhea sundae.

Wow, sounds like they went down the drain. This is weird, back then they had such a reputation for robustness.
