And? This is common practice in all war. Ukraine certainly has military members who do this also. It’s almost like war is a horrific, terrible thing that horrific, terrible people are drawn to.

Yes those righteous, upstanding heroes… checks notes doing absolutely no wrong because everyone on Our Team is so pure.
I never said anything about purity. That’s an obsession of the simple minded.
That being said, you can never fault someone for defending their home and their community when an armed threat literally come knocking.
And I never said anything about Ukrainian forces being dirty.
You may not have said it, but you certainly implied it.
