    Either this is being framed real out of context, or Trump is basically asking the GCC to commit political suicide.

    What I’m guessing is that these demands are for investments into the US, not like, actual payments just handed over.

    Cause the alternative is just unbelievable

      What are these, menu items? What if they just say neither and pay nothing? What, he’s going to find a middle ground between the two like standing a coin on its side? Literally what’s he going to do short of declaring war on the GCC?

        In fairness the GCC has no ability to resist the US so trump could just straight up eminent domain all the GCCs investments in the US, or steal their foreign reserves or something.
