On January 21, 1924, Vladimir Ilyich Lenin passed away after a long illness.
Comrade Lenin became a great successor to Marx and Engels. He not only scientifically substantiated the necessity of overthrowing the bourgeois dictatorship, but also implemented it in practice. Creatively developing Marx’s teachings, he demonstrated the validity of materialist dialectics as a method for studying and transforming society, developed the doctrine of imperialism as the highest stage of capitalism, and introduced and substantiated the concepts of building socialism in one country and the dictatorship of the proletariat, which were later implemented by the Bolshevik Party.
Led by Vladimir Lenin, the RSDLP(b) carried out a socialist revolution in October 1917. The new workers’ and peasants’ government, led by Comrade Lenin, implemented major reforms: private land ownership was abolished, enterprises and natural resources were nationalized, illiteracy was eradicated, and electrification was implemented. On his initiative, the Workers’ and Peasants’ Red Army was created in February 1918, defeating White Guard gangs and foreign interventionists from 14 countries during the Civil War. In 1922, following Lenin’s design, the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics was founded—the world’s first socialist state, embodying the principle of proletarian internationalism.
Comrade Lenin dedicated his entire life to this great cause, sparing no effort in the struggle for a new, just world. The great leader of the world proletariat lived less than 54 years, yet in such a short time on earth, Vladimir Ilyich made an outstanding contribution to the construction of a new, just world. His name became a symbol of the great socialist transformations and victories of Soviet power, a steadfast faith in the victory of communism, and a ray of hope for the peoples of the world. Today, in the days of bourgeois reaction, the Communist Party of the Russian Federation steadfastly continues to follow Lenin’s immortal teachings in the struggle for people’s power and socialism in Russia!
Lenin lived! Lenin lives! Lenin will live!
