The scale of what they’ve built in under 2 years is boggling my mind a little bit. I’m so used to how long construction takes in the west that I can’t imagine seeing that pop up that quickly.

For reference, there are still some areas affected by the 2009 bushfires in my state, that are still being rebuilt today. Mostly these are neighborhoods and national parks.
