By “communism” do they mean the real deal or social democracy? Because the latter one will lead them to square zero.

Almost certainly a mix of both, but the positive here is the trend is improving dramatically. Further, most associate “socialism” with social democracy (incorrectly, of course), but communism with existing socialist projects.

Yep! Though it’s also worth noting that we can recruit from socdems and the DSA as well. Like jenga, not everyone is open to communism, but by focusing on the looser pieces we can more effectively organize the advanced among the working classes.

We should never forger our first objective is abolishing capitalism first. Then we can bicker back and forth about the type of socialism we want to build.

Sure, but we need to have that organization first and foremost to do so, and any good org is going to have ideological consistency.

True! An organization/vanguard must have a code, preferably a Marxist-Leninist one; it should refuse the people who don’t fit in at all, and purge the ones who actively undermines the objectives. But it shouldn’t purge people left and right because they oppose some minor policies.

I had to double-check to see if you wrote “democrat centrism” lol. Too much liberal brainrot poisoned my reading comprehension.
