Its satisfactory. Faerun isnt my favourite setting and all. And they throw like a billion companions at you and you aren’t sure who to keep around at all, for story’s sake (well except for you know who). I mean it definitely feels like an old game and the writing isnt mind-blowing (like record of lodoss war, it produced various batches of tropes), but I have been enjoying it so far. Oh and I die a lot, so there is a risk in every encounter, since I play with companions can actually die mode on.
If you value games for their contributions to media art history, then you should undoubtedly try it!
