I’ve just assumed that veganism/such is a lost cause here when it’s met with vitriol instead of actual debate or discussion. That’s the part that gets me; they’re the type who absolutely shudder, piss and cry at the thought of their tasty treats getting taken away from them. A good chunk of them just ignore you too. Fun stuff.
Same position that supported labor movements for white men but supported the exclusion of women and racial minorities. The whole concept is the same that we want these rights only for us and it is “God given” position to oppress others. Anti-veganism is reactionary and always will be.
