My country, Bangladesh (social conservative, if not reactionary - disappointingly) that has seen Khaleda Zia and Sheikh Hasina (both women) come back in power as Prime fucking Ministers (and not living showpieces that are the Presidents in a Parliamentary Republic) back to back from 1996 till 2024 (ignoring the 2008 interim govt.) after the fall of Mujibur Rahman, Zia-ul Haque and Hussein Md.
