I imagine one of the first steps for this project would be assembling a list of books and literature on the subject. Any company or institution as ubiquitous as Amazon will likely have dozens of books written about it, with authors ranging from sycophants to muckrakers. If we get a dozen or so people on board, we can organize something almost like a book club, but instead of reading the same book, we can split off and read different books covering different aspects of the same subject and assemble our knowledge. Come up with assignments on a biweekly-monthly basis, split off into focus groups, develop our understanding, and come together to assemble a novel and comprehensive analyses on a regular basis.
It is too late for me to get started on this tonight, but I will start looking for literature and report back when I find something interesting to dive into.
