China’s SOEs are fairly autonomous so I wonder how much of this for safety/security reasons vs ideological/political reasons.
Even if China is looking at this from a two-state solution lens, its pretty obvious that Israel’s behaviour is a threat to the entire region.
I do wonder how much of this is due to the Iraqi resistance firing a cruise missile at Haifa and it not even setting off missile warning alarms.
Isn’t Haifa one of the main and busiest ports in occupied land?
