I would find it weird if they did that considering the whole point of a websocket connection is to keep a single 2 way connection open for a long period of time instead of needing to poll the server with a shit ton of HTTP requests.
If you receive a notification for this comment in real time that means lemmy definitely keeps websocket connections open for way longer than 2 minutes when behaving normally.
Is this because lemmy kills the connection after 2 minutes?
