We know most public HP support comes from people who are ambivalent or actively anti-trans so don’t get your wires crossed, I’m not saying you should ask each Gryffindor scarf if “they have legitimate concerns about the erasure of womanhood” if they’re even hiding behind that obvious bullshit anymore. It’s pretty much a given now. It just sucks that Death of the Author is a failure in this case.
