I hope they break it into a dozen pieces (or better yet, nationalize it) and cast Beef Jesus into the abyss.

I understand dividing the company since they even make cars (Rivian), now… nationalize? What justifies nationalizing a private company that does not provide anything critical to the country? you have to be trolling…

Over 50% of Amazon’s sales are their marketplace. A marketplace is considered “free” when it is regulated against things like fraud. Amazon isn’t fighting fraud, they profit from it. The amount of bootleg goods on Amazon is insane.

let me get this straight, the government doesn’t regulate something and leaves it to the “invisible hand of the market”, it becomes corrupt and fraudulent, so the solution to the problem is to nationalize it to solve a problem that you created yourself by not regulate? Of course because the government doesn’t have a drop of corruption in the system. You need to stop drinking toilet water!

It does offer a critical feature to the country, distribution of goods to people within the country.

Why not just lobby or advocate or vote for funding of the postal service we have had for a while now…

          Amazon hasn’t been around forever.

for money! this isn’t a charity that anyone can take as they need it, you have to pay. Since that way we will nationalize all stores and websites, walmart, cosco… you know what, my fault for feeding the trolls, and I should have seen that the comment came from a lemmygrad user.
