About the First imagine, when telling libs, how most Russians (inclusive my Russian grandparents) want the ussr because of better living standards, they begin to cry immediately and tell me how “I’m brainwashed, just like my grandparents”
Not just most Russians. Ukrainians, Uralic states etc etc. It’s mostly Baltic states and Poles that are anti-communist.(well ofc many people might not understand what made the USSR great, but still like it.)

same, as someone who is from a family that was both an ethnic and religious minority in the USSR
