this line reminds me of a LGBT+ liberal I talked too about public transport infastructure once, I suggested moving to banning all cars in inner city areas and replacing it in a phase out way with a robust walkable city infastructure that priortizes walking and the disabled first, bikes, busses/trams/subways then finally only emergancy cars with outer rings to service delivery vehicles.
They said ‘but im LGBT and cant travel on public transport because il get attacked or harrassed i wont give up my car for anything you’re a fasicist’
It made me realize how IDpolitics is weaponized, they make the climate towards minorties so weaponized they want to isolate themselves as much as possible. The solution to there paranoia was obviously a socialist controlled society that made the social climate less hostile to LGBT+ comrades and headshotting the neo-liberal media who drive up tensions directed toward them, but all they could express this anixiety as was in anti-green measures because thats the pre-planned route the capitalists drive minorties down through the conditions that they create.
