    “cultural imperialism” is a right wing dog whistle and almost always refers to LGBT people or women having rights

    The only form of imperialism is simply imperialism, and it is economic, as outlined by Lenin and Nkrumah.

      Maybe it is. Still, people don’t want foreign values even if it improves quality of life or something. I think there is a belief that societies need to reach some stuff on their own, when the right time comes.
