There was only one thing I missed about the old CTH subreddit, and that was that we would occasionally get a lost lib that would stumble in and start calling us Putin lovers or some shit. It was always really funny watching them expect to bring the reddit debate shit in only to be completely not be taken seriously at all.

    I’ve read the !chat@hexbear.net post about the “Ukrainian Nazis” statement in source code, and I have to hand it to you guys. You are better at engaging stray libs than us, fucker was swarmed with genuine replies and the occasional ppb.

      It’s a rhetorical technique known as the PPB sandwich. Bait them with productive counterpoints, hit them with the ppb, then soften the exit with further civil discussion.

      Soon enough we will be seeing it within single replies.
