I never had trouble with where to go honestly, except for one of the later areas that I don’t remember the name of. For me wherever I needed to go was always pretty obvious. ROTT though…

a new infinite use item that shows the player where to go next
Why? Isn’t Quake II a little too linear as is? This would’ve been much more welcome in ROTT remaster honestly.
In addition to existing source ports not being very good, the DOSbox experience wasn’t great. Mouse feels a bit sluggish even if you make it super sensitive, getting Gravis music to work is a pain in the ass and super low resolution.
So the remaster, unlike most other remasters in my opinion, is a very welcome modern release.
Rottexpr almost got it right but still had some quirks and issues and they won’t be fixed since it’s no longer worked on.
I’ve tried Ludicrous Edition’s demo and it’s amazing, you can rest easy.
Uh, Patrick, that’s the name of the restaurant.
There was a Magic: The Gathering computer game in 1997.
Oh hey, that’s Contra Force.
That game is awesome once you overclock it by the way.
So this’ll make use of other Instagram viewers instead of directly going to Instagram itself?
When I was on Quora one day I saw an advertisement for DuckDuckGo, “Google tracks you, we don’t.” I quickly began researching it and decided I should rip out as much of Google out of my life as possible.
The ads I’ve hated so much teached me about the importance of online privacy.
First stage music was very catchy.
Yeah, I hope both Derek and Grace are doing well.
Stop Skeletons From Fighting. It doesn’t get better than crazy uncle Derek.
Unreal is so fucking good, if you guys didn’t play it yet, it holds up perfectly. Get the fan patch from oldunreal and play.
Quake III is fun, I like occasionally duking out with bots on it.
Never touched Homeworld, maybe someday.
Nope, being an open source and privacy zealot I wanted to switch to Lemmy well before anyone cared about it. But I deleted my account because it had like twenty active people on it at most. Now that it’s gaining users I’m definitely staying. I wasn’t very active on Reddit for quite a while anyway, discussion grew repetitive.
Nah, a mostly complete port for Genesis already existed, Piko just finished up that prototype.
For real, far worse looking games had great slowdown problems on NES (cough, cough Contra Force cough).
It’s super interesting that someone remembers Jim Power enough to demake it into an NES game. I’ve seen this game on a Game Sack episode long ago and gave it a try, it has amazing graphics and wonderful music but the gameplay kind of sucks. This was originally an Amiga game and it doesn’t really hold up, which is apparently common for Amiga.
Edit: Apparently Piko Interactive made an Enhanced Editon, I gotta try this.
Looks like a Neo Geo Pocket.
