I thought about that as well but I found a better solution, which is to just move the rows to a different sheet. I don’t need the rows to be on the main sheet, I just need them to be visually next to each other without breaking the structure of the spreadsheet, which moving them to a second sheet would do.
I know about hiding and un-hiding but the problem is that, if I needed to edit them, I would then have to un-hide them, edit them, and then re-hide them.
After looking through some other Doom on “insert device here” videos, I couldn’t find it but I found one where the gameplay looks similar (even though it’s a completely different device and the game is clearly modded). The video is called Doom 2 on optimus maximus.
Well, I tried to look for the video I saw but couldn’t find it. All of the videos I could find have the game in monochrome with a high frame rate, while the video I remember watching looked similar to the GBA version but with a significantly worse resolution and frame rate.
I’ll have to re-watch the video again if I can find it but I’m pretty sure that the video I saw was a different one because the one I remember watching had a pixelated screen screen with a low frame rate.
I once saw someone running Doom on a pregnancy tester, so I’d imagine that it could run Linux as well.
Yeah, that’s one of the other options I’m aware of. The only problem is that I’m not very familiar with Discord and I’ve only ever used it for lurking. My Discord account is also unverified, which might cause problems as well. But it’s getting late for me, so I might not have time to try it tonight.
I’d prefer to avoid Reddit if I can, I deleted my account a few months ago because I planned on never returning. There are a few other options I’m aware of but I thought I’d try Lemmy first, since I prefer to support smaller platforms first.
I looked at all communities that are federated with the instance I’m using and I only saw three that were decently active, one from lemmy.world, one from beehaw.org and one from sh.itjust.works. Every other gaming related community is either focused on something specific or doesn’t seem active enough to get any actual answers.
I tried that but the gaming communities that I looked at didn’t seem to allow this type of post, so I don’t know where else I can post it.
I did that yesterday and it might have fixed it because I didn’t have the issue but I did try multiple things yesterday, so I’m not sure.
I’ve already done that but thanks anyways.
I’m not concerned about Linux breaking, I’m concerned about the laptop itself. My last laptop stopped being able to boot into any OS or even enter the bios after I was repeatedly restarting it one day and my laptop before that has a problem where for some reason the screen gets dark spots if it’s turned on more than once a day. I also have another laptop that has a failing GPU and another that for some reason can’t read internal hard drives anymore. In the off chance that Linux does have problems, I am already prepared for that but as I said, I’m more concerned about the laptop. We’ve had it for over 5 years and we really can’t afford a new one.
It’s probably just paranoia but every laptop I’ve ever owned has had a problem pertaining to repeatedly turning them off and on again. This laptop is my mom’s and I’m just using it because my old one stopped working and I really don’t want to break this one too.
I know about and have used apt, I install pretty much everything through the terminal. What I searched for was “how to reinstall libpcre” because I thought that it required a specific method or something due to the fact that it’s a system library.
Anyways, it reinstalled it but I wont know if it fixed the issue until tonight.
Ok, so Synaptic Package Manager states that it’s installed in the exact location you say that it’s supposed to be in but ldd states “No such file or directory”. What’s going on here?
I wont know until tonight.
Synaptic Package Manager states that there are several versions of libpcre2 installed, which one should I try to reinstall?
I tried seaching it online but the only I could find (that I understood how to use it) was to run “sudo ldconfig” which didn’t seem to day anything. I have no idea if that actually fixed the problem or not but if it didn’t, do you have any other solutions?
I could but someone else reminded me of a better solution, which was to just move the rows to another sheet.
