If you bother to read, it does not in fact lump them in together. Yes, cats without meat will straight up die while dogs will for the most part eat nearly anything willingly. They will eat random gross off the road, they will eat things out the bin, they will eat their own vomit after hacking up the random gross thing they ate off the road. The willingness to eat the things does not mean it’s good for them, or part of a healthy diet. It’s true that a meatless diet won’t necessarily kill a dog (unless it’s a puppy), but it won’t thrive like it would with a meat-rich diet.

Right, so no actual objection, very good then. You’d have done better to stick to citing the sources you provided instead of trying to dismiss mine for such a weak reason, as those papers might at least be halfway convincing that there’s more study needed - after looking through the authors and funding to confirm there’s no conflict of interest of course, like say if a paper got funded by a dog food company that sells vegan products.

Oh yes, a clear conflict of interest isn’t a reason to question a source’s legitimacy. What could the company ProVeg International possibly have to gain from a study that says their products are safe to feed to animals, hmm, I do so very wonder. I’ll leave you to ponder that.

I really enjoyed learning to homebrew, and my family and friends really enjoyed drinking the mead I’ve made. You can homebrew all sorts of stuff, too - beer and wine of course, but also kombucha and ginger ale (edit: and cider! Thanks /u/cyberpunk007). I’m looking at professional kit for my next batch which is going to be a few hundred dollars at least of steel, but my first fermentation tubs were something like $35.

My only up-front recommendation would be to get a conical fermenter as it minimises loss when racking/bottling.

Man, most bands start as a group of friends playing together for fun. Yes, sucking isn’t fun - the fun comes from surmounting those obstacles and seeing yourself improve. I sucked at Dark Souls when I first picked it up, but I wanted to be good, so I sat down and practiced parrying against basic enemies until I could get it consistently. I suck at guitar too, it hurts my fingers and makes my hands cramp and it wasn’t worth it to me to push through that to get good.

You know what I did about it? I sold my guitar on craigslist and moved on. I didn’t go on the internet and whine about it, nor did I get impudent with people who took the time to offer me advice - really rather good advice, in this thread. Your attitude sucks. Adjust that, and then either sit down and practice or find a new hobby. Nobody gives a shit that being bad makes you sad.

And take time away from jellyfin to administer it? Nah, let people donate to the client they use makes the most sense. They have a list of clients they like, why isn’t that enough?
