That tends to make your phone screen look yellow/orange. Pink is a different thing.

I had that issue on an old phone, could very well be hardware variance.
White light is the combination of all those wavelengths. It is only the combination that makes it “white” in exactly the same way that a smaller range of wavelengths are “red” or “blue”.
Except the US constitution does not include that language. The “a wall of separation between church and state” phrase most notably comes from an 1802 letter by Thomas Jefferson to the Danbury Baptist Association. Not a legally binding document by any means.
I imagine you’re thinking of the Establishment Clause of the Constitution which forbids the US government restricting the free exercise of religion.
I believe, iirc, the Supreme Court over several decades has affirmed and reaffirmed the overall position that the US government must remain secular and not favor a particular religion. Which is effectively what you’re getting at.
Cash has an identifier on it, but unlike a check that identifier doesn’t identify you.
That’s what I was thinking. Wasn’t that the point?
And that, everybody, is literally not the correct usage of “enshittification”.
Jk, but for real though, it’s not a direct synonym for “degraded” or “gets worse”. It’s more specific than that.
Plus, “literally” now literally has an alternative definition in the dictionary meaning “figuratively”. So y’know, maybe get over the needless linguistic prescriptivism.
Like most FOSS projects… they’re awful at promoting what they actually do on their website front page, instead focusing on FOSS buzzwords. It’s unfortunately a thing.
It’s vector art. You can design all sorts of things. App layouts, website design, logo design, basically anything that is visual and will need to scale up and down without loss of detail.
Including your Lemmy account?
jk, you do you boo.
If you don’t mind an older recommendation, StarFox 64. You could beat the story in about 30 minutes, but there’s lots of secrets and challenges that unlock new completion paths, harder boss variants, etc.
I tried to read Foucault in grad school. His writing is just the worst, like it’s intentionally trying to be difficult to read and understand. When other people describe Foucault’s ideas to me, they seem cool. Wish I could actually understand the original stuff though.
Maybe I’m just an idiot, I dunno.
But not Changing: The Lost 2nd Edition, fuck that game. We played one campaign, and the rulebook was an absolute pain in the ass to read and reference from the beginning to the end of the whole campaign. We had to make rules up to fill in the gaps. The index was a joke.
Sorry. Changeling: the Dreaming is fine. I played it briefly, and it was fine. C:tL2e is just such a trainwreck, I feel like I’m trauma dumping.
If a clot was formed due to a poison or something, is that detectable? Or is this one of those things that will always be shrouded in suspicion because we’ll never know if the clot was ‘natural’ or part of a more intentional plot?
I blocked hexbear not because of their political beliefs, but because they would fucking ruin entire content sections by being super annoying.
I’m also glad to see your comment not triggering the same brigading behavior I used to see a lot more often.
Man I grew up in the age of forums, and I never got the hang of em. Just felt like the design goals were wasted negative space and the purposeful inability to know who is responding to whom.
There’s a lot of forum fans, so there must be some appeal, but fuck me if I can ascertain what that might be.
I never did any IRC, though I wonder if I’d known it at the time if I might’ve gotten into it.
They started putting ads in the mobile app a while ago. I think I first noticed a couple years ago? I had been using Inbox until that got shut down, then used the web UI for the most part. I’ve tried a few other app options, but the only one I like is $10/mo just for the UI. Not even a full email address, just a UI for Gmail.
I’m pretty hyped for DC20. I backed the Kickstarter… now I just need life to fuckin’ chill long enough for me to pull a game together to test out the beta rules.
