Facebook will never die. Too many people in third-world countries rely on Facebook for internet access. Facebook is happy to provide free connectivity to keep people hooked in countries like Philippines. They mask the images and videos in FB Messenger, but then provide a very ad-heavy Facebook lite experience for free. They brokered a deal with the carriers in these countries for this. Facebook is here to stay for a very, very long time.
They already tried that tactic. They also ignored the order. They literally said “thanks for your opinion but no.” This happened because of that “opinion.” I have no doubt the corrupt right-wing fuckers that run my state will weasel out of this somehow.
240v dedicated taps don’t come cheap. Having two 240v taps installed this morning, will cost about $1300. That’s without a proprietary charger. I decided to just use standard 240v chargers for our Mach-E. It’s slower than the proprietary Ford charger, but not by much.

This is completely incorrect. It is opt-out.
It was turned on for me by default when I opened Chrome (it had updated in the background). I had to go to settings to turn it back off.
They’re doing their own version of this, not Google’s. It’s equally bad.
But the advertisers do see the demographics and effectiveness of their ads being served. That’s a pretty good peek into browser histories, even though it’s not as minute as the statement leads you to believe.
Still, it’s too much.
Glad I’m not using Chrome.
I’ve never used Apple support through social media. I use their website, the support app, and messages to contact them. It was a great experience every time.
I’m surprised they stayed on Musk’s Twitter this long.
Welp, I already love it. Amazing work!
When you get older that’s not necessarily a bad thing.
Bullshit. Plenty of other browsers based on other engines like WebKit.
I can’t believe this thread is running with no mention of jamocha shakes. That shit is nectar of the gods.
In the USA, work doesn’t end at 5, and there’s always homework. That’s where your proposal goes wrong.
Yep, I left when it was announced Apollo was shutting down.
That one might be wrapped up in copyright. There was an app called Socialite a few years ago.
