could you expand on this at all?

Arch Linux with a Gnome desktop with low core hardware even dual core a year ago on Wayland would not be a to play a video on VLC for a week straight no power offs or restarts without crashing and or some error

Fast forward to today and that same setup even without updating regularly will get you the same experience as Windows in regard to stability and being able to stay running without crashes or errors

Shout out to the Steam team for their contributions to Linux and yes use Arch btw and feel am able to make more changes to the system than before

  • prices are not where an average person could go out and buy one in the usa $7.25 is still the minimum wage not to mention rising costs of insurance and property taxes and some states tack on extras fee for certain things and some insurance companies are leaving states making the cost jump even more

cheaper gasoline vehicles are barely affordable if at all for most even used ones

what about the battery and materials having to be mined and what have you

are the workers from material gathering to the final build paid a fair living wage

in some places such as tennessee the charging stations for electric are shutting down

  • death of the local newspaper was bad for politics too https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/McClatchy

local news papers are owned by a big national mega news corp stifling real news

no local city council meeting news or any county council meeting news or anything other than propaganda about how well things are just look at this new restaurant that is opening up

hard to do grass roots and all that and have discussions when everyone is in the dark even about local happenings

both parties do what this article accuses

Biden and Obama had someone chained to a chair for wanting to do a debate like the demopublicans are allowed to do

    https://www.democracynow.org/2012/10/17/green_partys_jill_stein_cheri_honkala

football or pakled like politics the other side with the other colored shirt and different letter are the problem and my helmet is not big enough never about anything substantial

Of course the president can not wave a magic wand but they still have the media could be saying things everyday that could help sway opinion such as abortion rights or anything

Catholic Biden definitely could have been removed way more openly about this and other things he ran on

both sides doing the same thing but claiming their different excuses and makeup are better

end of politics in america was in part when the local papers got bought up which was pre2010

  • definitely believable

    16gb ddr3 ram

    ten year old i5

    rx580 8gb

    arch linux gnome desktop

    standard prebuilt dell pc

have two of these machines built and operating in the house both are able to play modern games including Hogwarts Legacy low settings at 60fps no ray tracing

some games run fine with medium or high

some games such as Hogwarts Legacy and Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered require a per game specialized wine wrapper script that is usually already made by an awesome entity unless you go through the steam launcher and then it just plays like a steam deck

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Steam_Deck

“Steam Deck runs SteamOS version 3, based on the Arch Linux operating system. While SteamOS had been previously developed for Steam Machines using Debian Linux, Valve stated that they wanted to use a rolling upgrade approach for the Deck’s system software, a function Debian was not designed for but was a feature of Arch Linux. An application programming interface (API) specific for the Steam Deck is available to game developers, allowing a game to specify certain settings if it is being run on a Steam Deck compared to a normal computer. Within the Steam storefront, developers can populate a special file depot for their game with lower-resolution textures and other reduced elements to allow their game to perform better on the Steam Deck; Steam automatically detects and downloads the appropriate files for the system (whether on a computer or Steam Deck) when the user installs the game”
