It looks pretty awesome. But I do wonder why your workplace doesn’t just refill the bottle instead of disposing of it and buying a new one. Props for the up-cycling though!
The politicians worry that same sex marriage will result in an even lower birth rate, which seems ridiculous! It’s not like those people are currently making babies. And they might consider surrogacy or other options if they were able to marry. So same sex marriage could actually increase the population.
Cool. Thanks so much. I know what my weekend plan is now lol
What method to clean them would you recommend? Just some bleach and a scrubbing brush? Would you have to remove them beforehand?
It’s a pretty popular beer in Japan. Many people I know love it (not a beer drinker myself). I’d imagine you can probably get it wherever you live, too.
If you’re talking about the top and bottom navigation bars, Arctic has the option to hide them so you get full screen scrolling.
No worries. I do understand. A new phone is on the shopping list anyway. This can be a good reason to make the purchase!
That sucks. Some of us can’t afford to upgrade to a newer device, so therefore we can’t update iOS. I would urge you to reconsider.
It did. The album title was “Hooray for Boobies”
I played around a bit more to reproduce it. I might depend on the particular image. This time I could reproduce it by:
Double tapping to zoom in. Double tapping (or was it triple) to zoom out. Swipe from right to left.
Thanks for the update.
In the image viewer, quickly swiping left or right after opening the image zooms the image in to a very high level. Is that expected behaviour?
Thanks for the big update. Just noticed that links to communities using the !xxx@xxx format are not loading, and actually opening the email client. So I guess they are somehow being interpreted as email addresses. The initial exclamation mark is not the same color as the link.
If you use the kids YouTube app then there are no ads. On tv, you can use the regular YouTube app to switch to your child’s account and then no more ads.
They are capable of that. But it is resource intensive (think battery) to have the app running in the background polling lemmy every x minutes.
That was cool to watch. Thanks for sharing!
I’m well aware of how big a company NAVER is. Unfortunately where I live, their main app, Line, is basically a social requirement. It is what it is. The op asked for an alternative to google lens, not for a trustworthy company.
I use Papago on iOS. It looks to be available on Android, too.

It is surprising to realise that this is not more common. In Japan, basically every home and apartment comes with rooftop antennas and coaxial connections in multiple rooms. No need to pay for cable TV (BS and CS) unless you want to get more channels.
Oh yeah, you got me there. Didn’t consider that you were implying that. Whoops! My bad. I’ll leave the above comment though in case others find it useful somehow. Thanks!
