I need 'em both. Not everything I multiply is a number.
science and music. and beer. and dogs.

In LaTeX? You really are a rebel.
your large fonts are obnoxious.
That’s a good reason to use an operating system that will never turn over control to a software vendor.
I speak of gnu/linux, of course. Or any of the BSDs. Or any other unix variant. It’s true that there is a ton of proprietary software out there that won’t run on those, but it’s almost always from exploitative companies like Adobe who should be run out of business.
“geo” doesn’t mean rocks though, it means Earth.
Shouldn’t it be “lunalogic?”
I don’t think that myth exists. If you thought that before trying Linux, where did you get that idea?
Most birds are predators.
In some areas (depends on local health dept.) restaurant kitchens are required to have weak bleach solutions around for sanitizing food prep surfaces.
But ironically, the main way we’re trying is by ruining our planet’s ability to protect us from the Sun.
…other than nuclear war.
That’s literally the opposite of what “theory” means in a scientific context. You know nothing of science and your opinion is wrong.
Remember that the volume goes like radius cubed. That image suggests about four times the radius. That means 64 times the volume. It’s not as simple though, as saying it has 64 times the mass. That’s… complicated.
there’s no limit to the things you don’t have, because that includes all of the things that don’t exist.
But there are an infinite number of things that you don’t have any of, so if you count them all together the number is actually not zero (because zero times infinity is undefined).
That’s not what “sprawling” means.
I know it’s in the article headline and OP is likely not the author, but it’s impossible to give feedback on space.com so I’m leaving it here from frustration.
Boltzmann is “riff-raff” now?!? I get what you’re going for, but c’mon.
Relevant Corb Lund song:
wtf is a “dark energy camera?” smh
This thing is just a mosaic of ordinary CCDs. I’m sure the name has something to do with it’s specific scientific goals, but that’s not explained at all in this article. They didn’t even attempt to make any kind of connection between the veil and dark energy. Or even between supernovae and dark energy.
Sometimes we find that obscure pure mathematics does describe reality when no one expected it to. Riemannian geometry is one such example.
