They certainly have options, though I’m not convinced Tsunoda, Ricciardo or Lawson are necessarily better options.
Oh no, please tell me this isn’t true. Surely the well balanced and entirely rational Mr. Musk wouldn’t let this happen?
That’s hardly a Linux-specific problem. There are plenty of Windows problems I’ve encountered where running some random dude’s registry update script is the recommended answer. If you are running anything with Admin / Root rights in any OS you had better understand what you’re doing.
Win 7 is peak Windows for me, but yeah, XP is fine. So is 2K or even Vista for that matter. With every release since 7 MS seem to have been actively looking for ways to make the UI experience worse.
Well, it’s actually not that difficult if you really want to, but there’s really no good reason to do so right now. It’s basically just the same OS with an even more annoying UI.
Yeah, just because something utilises technology doesn’t mean it belongs in a technology community.
Also, social media spreading misinformation hardly even counts as news these days.
My profuse apologies, Mrs Tea I will endeavour to be gender neutral in any further insults.
Hah, look at Mr. Moneybags bragging about his wealth!
Not a good look for VAG if true. First Porsche make a big deal about entering F1 and then can’t find anyone who wants to work with them. If Audi then bails out after committing to buy a team and being an engine supplier it’s not going to reflect well on the brand.
Maybe a way back into F1 for Honda though?
PF1 is a clickbait site. As a source of news it’s about as reliable as the Daily Mail.
Very little. It’s just to get the drivers familiar with the new track limits.
Leather Tuscadero!
Now we are in the cost-cap era this all seems pretty pointless.
More to the point, dragons are real?
So many great XTC songs to choose from. I’m not sure I can pick a favourite.
RBR don’t want or need anyone to match Verstappen’s performance. All they want from their second driver is to finish P2 in the championship. Perez is currently on track to achieve that, but Hamilton isn’t too far behind him. Perez is probably safe for next year so long as he gets P2, but he can’t afford another race like Suzuka.
Ricciardo is unlikely to be an upgrade on Perez speed-wise, but he’d probably handle the pressure better and have fewer race incidents.
Arran always looks lovely, when the weather permits. It’s been 10 years since I first moved here and I’m still sometimes stunned by how beautiful the Ayrshire coast can be (when it’s not raining sideways).
Yes, I must admit it has turned a bit humid today. Still beats sideways rain though.
As someone who now lives on the west coast of Scotland I’m actually enjoying the novelty of a bit of hot dry weather.
I used to dread weather like this when I lived in London though.
Linux is fine for people like you and me who are comfortable installing our own operating system, and trouble-shooting any problems. Most ‘normal’ people though will continue to walk into a store, buy a laptop, and use whatever came installed.
Of course, the year of Linux on the desktop actually happened some time ago without anyone noticing. It’s called ChromeOS, and that’s a whole different can of worms.
