We were on quarters, so we had calc 1-4. Makes sense that Calc 2 was rough if you were on semesters.

Where I’m from Calc 2 is integrals. That wasn’t so terrible. It was Calc 3 (vectors and series) that was the hard one.
I’m not a lawyer so I have no clue about the legal issues, but I’m more than happy to put my name to anything that costs a corporation money. I don’t even need the money. They can take it out of Valve’s pocket and burn it for all I care.
It’s because there’s effectively a class-action suit going on right now, but because the user agreement says you have to use arbitration, there were tens of thousands of people who are like “sure let’s go to arbitration”. Valve is losing tons of money having to fight all the suits.

Note: I am one of the people involved in this suit.
Same with Trump!
I find that the F-Droid “system” is pretty opaque. There doesn’t seem to be any way that you can track a bug somewhere that a build is failing or who is working on it. Just the build fails and…hopefully someone realizes it and they’ll fix it at…some date in the future.
Yeah I contribute to OSM but apps like OsmAnd are a far cry in features from Google Maps. The paths are very much not optimized. If I tell it to go back to my hometown it takes me about 15 minutes out of the way. And I can’t tell it to go to a certain house because the houses aren’t mapped yet.
Should I help map them? Yes. But for your average user that’s not going to work.
The climate activist thing they did pursuant to a warrant, which every company will do, and the only thing of interest they turned over was the person’s recovery email…which was personally identifiable. From there the authorities got everything else. IIRC, they got access to the person’s iCloud. None of the person’s emails or anything like that was given out. If you are strictly concerned about privacy you shouldn’t use a recovery email so that your login can’t be tied back to you.
As far as the service, I am using Mail and Pass daily and like both. I use the VPN and Drive sparingly, but I have enough space on it to stop using my Google Drive. Calendar is useless for me because of the lack of CalDAV support… and also because I can’t have many calendars on the free plan.
It hits the sweet spot between privacy and ease of use for me. YMMV.
Taco Bell most likely.
Sent this to my wife and we talked a bit about how I don’t like lights on.
I realized that even when I’m home alone at night (and not taking care so that she doesn’t wake up), I will use the flashlight/torch on my cell phone rather than turn on lights in the house.
Squatters’ rights doesn’t really exist in the US like it does in Europe/the UK.
You have to be A- or O- to do power red.
My understanding is that being nearsighted is a relatively new phenomenon that is largely due to being indoors a lot. Farsightedness in old age has been around since humans have been humans.
I took a quick look and Wikipedia partially bears this out re: nearsightedness.
I’m O- so I give two units of red cells and get saline and the plasma/antibodies back. The guy at the donation site says “make sure you don’t drink any alcoholic beverages for 24 hours…but you can have one if you want.” He looks back to see if his manager is around and then whispers “you can have two but don’t leave the house.”
On the internet, everyone is American.
I felt this way at one time when I was younger. Now I don’t give a shit what people want to do with their own bodies.
When I was truly destitute, I ran a computer without a case. It was literally in a cardboard box on the floor.
Thanks for that link. I’ve never heard of that site and it’s really informative.
I made it through. My degree is actually in math. 15 years ago, I used to know what an abelian group is!
