I disagree. Software not terminating immediately is grounds for uninstallation. It should update silently while it runs.

You can fork it and continue developing it if you want
edit: you downvoting losers probably don’t seed your torrents either
Painful cringe
God you’re obnoxious. You got a .txt file you’re pasting these completely unoriginal russian-bot-tier zingers from?
Completely uncalled for, they said nothing to suggest they thought that at all. Great job representing wherever the fuck you’re from by being totally insufferable.
I’m certain you can think of a reason not to if you really try.
I don’t trust either, I’m just saying I trust ARM more. English is confusing and trust can be both boolean and float at the same time
ARM trust: 0.2 (false)
x86 trust: 0.1 (false)
Also, I trust ARM (almost definitely backdoor’d) over x86_64 (confirmed backdoor’d)
RK3855 = 4x Cortex-A76 + 4x Cortex-A55
x86_64 is inefficient and insecure
Any idea how fast it can do wireguard? I paid like $600 for a protectli vault that can do almost a gigabit per second through wireguard.
I don’t believe them and neither should you. They are looking for an easy PR win and you’re handing it to them. Title should be “Google makes the dubious claim that it will support right to repair”
My name. Smother Love by Crass. Your lover is not an object to possess.
Crypto mining is not reliably profitable and most people don’t have any other important computing to do. When the heat is what you want, you can consider that “waste computation” not the other way around.
Putting the company to death isn’t the same as putting the name of the company to death. You’re thinking of the latter. Actually putting a company to death would mean aggressively seizing and liquidating all assets, spending those funds on public interests as well as banning all the executives from ever working for a similar company as long as they live. Then new laws would be created to assure the exact same fate for any other company to follow in their footsteps. Will it ever happen? Probably not. But that’s how you kill a company.
Lot of talk about Mozilla, but what about Firefox? I’m not using the CEO as my web browser.
The CPI does not accurately reflect how worthless our money has become, in my opinion. I’m unemployed now, but when I was making 140k USD/year a couple months ago it felt to me like that minimum wage should be about there. It’s enough to feel comfortable and safe, without much luxury. This ought to be considered the absolute bare minimum quality of life for full time workers and their dependents in the world’s wealthiest nation.
Now adjust for inflation on top of that.
Fuck authoritarianism
