Apparently it’s been out for a bit? I saw someone randomly playing it last week and now half my steam list is balls deep in Dave.

Dispels/cleanses in general remain unnecessarily divided up.

Any cleanses should be able to handle poison/curse/magic/disease/etc. The classes should be built up around their unique strengths and not artificially weakened by a dated system.

I understand there are ‘lore’ reasons behind why only certain classes can dispel/cleanse certain things, but I think the player experience is first and foremost the most important. If it becomes hard to find groups due to these class limitations, maybe it’s time to lift some of these limits.

Connect has blocking communities and hiding threads which is fantastic. I’m waiting for something better, but I need to be able to block the massive amount of futa/hentai/ai porn communities on here.

I personally prefer the two devices. Keeps my work live separate from my personal life.

Video has some clear advantages when showing off a 3D space and otherwise, but I dislike pausing them over and over. Especially if my hands are covered in oil and grease, a paper version is superior to a screen.

I had used reddit since the near beginning, and over time the prevalence of ‘alternative facts’ and other right-wing narratives has risen sharply. You also have communities like r/conservative that participate in open calls to violence and perpetuate right wing dogwhistles for maximum rage bait. The sheer slide of r/politicalcompassmemes going from people role-playing different ideologies to thinly-veiled alt-right propaganda speaks to this shift.

Catering to conservatives and right wing players results in the enshittification of the website.

Honestly I think this is pretty well understood on an individual level.

The business world needs the wake-up call. It’s an employee market, has been for awhile and projected to stay that way as employment remains high. Start shelling out some hefty salaries or people are going to move to those who will.

So far the largest challenge I’ve found is customizing my Lemmy feed. Gotta really put in some work blocking communities until the stuff that’s not relevant to me is filtered out.
