That entire sentence sounds like a title of a visual novel
Keeping things simple.

Whew, I was getting worried we were one day into 2024 and nobody said this yet.
Yes we are, but it took a minute or two to be able to see the post.
Posts like this are so reassuring because it means mods are doing their jobs well :)
It would be kind of ironic to have an isitdown community on Lemmy itself. If an instance it down nobody from there would be able to post, and if the instance the community is made on is down then then none of the posts would federate
I know reading is hard but you realize this quote was reason #5 of the many reasons listed… I’m not going to copy-paste the article, it’s all relevant info.
Honestly you should just stick to Fedora.
Why?
Who said anything about Linux becoming Windows?
Dunno, but I suppose you can use piped: https://piped.video/watch?v=98kFh3JpIXk
Either way these events are pretty infrequent. There’s another one later today (Sony event), but after that you shouldn’t be seeing so many posts from me in the coming weeks.
This isn’t spam, there was a live event an hour ago that showed trailers back to back. I’m posting them as they were revealed.
Not to mention made by Nexon.
I honestly laughed when they showed the MC jumping from sky islands exactly like Tears of the Kingdom. It’s definitely giving off the energy of a game that over-promises and will end up with an average 6/10 rating.
While I don’t have the answers I did attempt to write a book for fun many years ago. It was quite an eye opening experience, because it turns out writing a book is hard, and very time consuming. I was only about 20 pages in before I gave up the idea.
That said, you don’t have to actually write a book. Writing creative essays, short stories, and even articles can be very rewarding without needing any long-term commitments. I’d give those a shot before jumping into something as big as making a real book. I still enjoy writing and I’m sure you will too, but you need a ton of commitment to make a book.
g2a and similar websites are grey market websites. That means they’re not literally illegal, but most of their keys are usually gotten illegally. Sometimes (it’s rare, but it happens) people buy keys and they get revoked later if Steam confirms it was stolen. I wouldn’t use them at all if you care about giving the developers their money, you might as well pirate it.
Meanwhile there are legit websites like Fanatical that do sell cheap mystery keys. Most of them are shovelware they’re trying to get rid of, don’t bother.
Games with Gold literally gave you ownership of a game.
Did they? I was under the impression that the games you collect with Gold won’t start if your subscription runs out similar to PS+.
The origin of the name is actually told in Lemmy’s GitHub page, it’s not just the Motorhead singer and Lemmings:
Why’s it called Lemmy?
- Lead singer from Motörhead.
- The old school video game.
- The Koopa from Super Mario.
- The furry rodents.
So basically the name came from an amalgam of things the lead dev liked.
I’ve been hearing that for like 7 years now
For the record the devs said this game took eight years to make, and might’ve been pitched even earlier than that. I can’t imagine working on a project for a decade and releasing to… This.
