And “driver crash”
“The best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago. The second best time is now.”
“You made a valid point and have changed my mind.”
For me, it’s Dragon Ball. Across 3 mangas, 4 shows, and like 25 movies, the latest content is still enjoyable. Dragon Ball Super, both the anime and manga, are just super fun successors to the originals. It’s the only comic book I actually read when a new issue comes out.
It’s been a couple of years, but I don’t recall it being particularly slow switching between branches. I had a pretty beefy rig to begin with, which probably helped.
A couple of years ago, I was modding a fresh install of Skyrim and thought, “I can use git branches to make it easy to switch between different mod combinations rather than uninstalling/reinstalling mods when something breaks or when I want to change things up.” Worked well!
I had branches that were mostly vanilla with enhancements, and then branches that had all kinds of ridiculous mods. If I wanted to switch to playing a ridiculous build of Skyrim, I’d just close the game, checkout the branch I wanted, and start the game.
I legitimately had someone try to argue to me that Kermit the Frog was more intimidating than King Shark
Guess it would depend on the situation. Renegotiating my contract with Kermit would be intimidating. Dude has been in the business for decades. I’d have to fight hard if I wanted top billing.
I have the regular bags from Food Lion and have been amazed at how sturdy they are.
I only recently noticed they also sell the rigid bags as well, and now I’m thinking of upgrading
I think I accomplished a similar effect on my first linux distro a long time ago with a program called “compiz” (iirc). “I’m so frickin 1337,” I whispered under my breath. Nobody cared except me, though, lol.
I’m sure not gonna be the one to get close enough to hold its mouth shut. No siree.
It’s true, and much of the enlightened world does it.
Ain’t it the truth. I’m an American who does software development for a French company and it’s amazing. 10/10. Best job I’ve ever had.
1978 was when baby boomers were entering their 30’s. Maybe that’s why the $58,680/yr figure sounds high. It’s my understanding that boomers made great money compared to newer generations (though I could be wrong about that; I’m no expert).
Agreed, lol. For me, it’s hamburgers. I’ve made hundreds (thousands?) over the years but I’m still very hit-and-miss at it. Sometimes they turn out good, and other times they turn out rubbery or undercooked. Everything else I can cook with pretty good consistency, but burgers are my kryptonite.
Never messed up a Beyond Burger or Impossible Burger though, lol. Those are pretty idiot-proof, at least.
Warm take: I like my coffee warm (not hot)
Based on the thumbnail I thought it was gonna say “and here’s where I’d put the documentation… if they gave me time to write it!”
