Hey man, take this data, clean it up and load it in your Linux machine. Do some parameter optimisation and variable selection on a set of different models, among which also include a neural network. Then come back with a strategy to perform sensible model selection and comparison.

You can go back further if you remove the constraint on using Linux.

Tools were there, TBF I have seen MATLAB libraries from back then who were much better than your current scikits and the likes.

He did not make clear he doesn’t want AI slop in the kernel, but he always made clear he’ll rather kill you rather than pull your slop into the kernel. I believe he said he doesn’t care too much whether programmers will use AI to contribute to the kernel because he assumes that will undoubtedly happen. Code shall be pulled into the kernel evaluating the quality of the code itself rather than the coding process.

Indeed, I imagine controller support is not one of the top priorities of plasma. It is likely most developers do not even have a controller to test whether changes affect its usability.

However, just so it is clear, no it is not only volunteers. There is people paid to maintain KDE and plasma. That is why it is a good idea to give some money to the project if you use it: it actually improves the thing.

As far as I’ve seen checking right now, an hypothesis can be used, just as a hypothesis can be used. I have never seen anyone writing with an apostrophe and would be very confused if reading it.

But also, fuck you Netherlands: I’ve been there a couple times and there was quite a vast amount of shops who did not accept cash, only card payment. This is unacceptable: Euro is official money, not whatever number is in your bank account.

It seems a very nice idea, but limiting packages to FOSS makes it pretty unusable to me. I can use nix or conda to install cuda in a kind of reliable way; if I can not do that I don’t see a fit for my use case.

You generally get the FLAC recording in bandcamp. I do buy there, but noway it is cheaper than Spotify: one album will generally go around 10-15€, while I believe Spotify is some 10€/month.

But then again, I have thousands of albums in my library, probably I could stop buying music and be good for a while.
