Great joke, I must say
I’d also like to point out that this makes the mechanical “customer service can’t help people” problem worse. They’ll be all friendly while you’re mad as hell. It makes the whole interaction even less genuine. The customer is probably angry because there isn’t a human conversation to be had to begin with. I don’t know why call center people even put up with that from their own organizations
No, this is behavior in MS Office products, not Windows.
WTF
Oh, lemmy.ml, it figures…
I love it! 😀
This is like Chuggy and the Channel tunnel 😢
Save As dialog of Windows or the one built into MS Word, for example? Why they even did that, I don’t know
I don’t think that’s true. Putin is not serious about this proposal. He’s not trying to get out of this war or he would have negotiated something more acceptable
These have been their demands for capitulation for a long time. Why do media even reporting on this?
I hate superhero movies. Can’t wait for this crap to be over
What I heard is that there’s queues for absolutely everything
Is it true Japan loves queueing for everything?
ITT people quoting US law as a universal ethical standard
Get outta here with your “no expectation of privacy in public”, that’s a legal concept and has nothing to do with the question. Moreover, that’s only the law in the US, not everywhere
Thanks for informing us. Of course you know this isn’t the most important thing about this, but at least I learned something new.
That other people would care as much for a clean history like I do. Specifically, opening branches and leaving them open forever without merging them back into main, many useless commits rather than squashing or amending, or making branches-of-branches-of-branches. Drives me nuts
Of course the Dutch version is about water
Neoliberalism didn’t exist yet when Orwell was alive.
Absolutely. I never cared for his political stuff. Get that shit out of here. Just geek out on historic stuff, but please no more misogynist social darwinist garbage…
