I think that type of feedback is a forever thing. How it may be done can change (even some PIs just do comments in the file instead of printing and handwriting) but I don’t see a scenario when that isn’t useful anymore.

In short you have to do the same amount of upfront work of getting all the relevant citations in a list then additional work on checking that the llm formatted properly and didn’t hallucinate then still have to go put in the in text citations.
