Welcome!!
Welcome!!
Same here, and I also hope communities will grow as more and more people move to the Fediverse. Basically it’s the niche parts of reddit that I’m missing but I’ve managed to stay away from it for the most part. I think we need to make sure to generate some content in the communities we are interested, being lurkers won’t help Lemmy grow.
How are you finding it? I read the first one around 10 years ago and loved it but didn’t keep reading because people said the style was very different. Are you liking it and do you think it can be read as a standalone book? (as I don’t think I would remember that much of the first book).
Same here, the first chapter is really good, then it becomes this slow story where nothing interesting seems to happen.
@ChatGPT@lemmings.world can you tell me a cute short story about a bunch of lemmings arriving to a happy place.
The first one is amazing, in my opinion a future sci-fi classic. Second one is also good, the third one was OK, many interesting ideas but something felt off. Hard to follow the steps of the first novel. Anyway, I’d definitely recommend starting the series!!
