I keep one until the battery dies. Then I replace the battery with a second rechargeable lithium and a new watch band. By the next time the next battery goes dead, the case is shot, too. Make absolutely sure that you follow the battery replacement directions carefully, reading the directions fully BEFORE attempting it. There are very tiny parts that can drop out and easily lost.

I have been teaching my 4th grade students their first actual equation that also is the greatest equation of the world universe. The secret parts are that the height is A, and the distance from the center to the edge is Z.

The greatest equation is that the actual volume of pizza that you get in any pizza is equal to…PI x ZZ x A. They ate it up.

Many ideas here sound like the projects built, starting in the 1930s. They had many failures and a few successes.

But guns are still heavenly tools, and God works in mysterious ways. Thoughts and prayers? I hate this dystopia.

And when I hear of children being killed and some beheaded, I understand the hate and fear of the monstrosity that pushes this. The human shields of innocent civilians and hostages, put in place to protect military installations, demonstrates disregard of all humanity, wrapped in rabid zealotry. The reason that extreme military tactics such as crimes against humanity were put in place was also to leave a path to peace after hostilities end. Otherwise, we sink to genocide as the only solution. Zealots ignore this, eventually forcing both sides to adopt a kill them all mentality. Humanity loses.

We will die eventually anyway. The real question is how much torture are we willing to put up, until then.

I try to balance by adding joy to my life and others around me. Loving people, laughing, and a sense of humor about myself helps. Life has a random element. I also try to concentrate attention on the good and what I can control. I have an insatiable curiosity about everything, that keeps me busy, in the meantime.

We all have a limited time in this life, and at some point in the next two hundred years, are certain to recycle our atoms to nature.
