This guy capitalisms ^
For those who haven’t had their coffee yet this morning - ‘middle class’ is yet another term they use to divide us and make us fight with each other instead of the real enemy
Saved it but never thought it’d come in handy
So the Dark Forest theory is true
I’m starting to feel like this says more about Ohioans than it does about Hatians
Oh nice I’ve been waiting for this.
I think their point is that nearly every other phone is in the Android ecosystem, isn’t it?
You didn’t know they had a thing? It lasted until Australia found out Pluto wasn’t really a planet.
Yellow Bird
They’ve done this so many times now, one of these days we’ll know better
Never seen it but drop a note back here if it’s worth it
Parody and satire have taken a real beating in the last years so I’d say ¯_(ツ)_/¯
Lots of my favorites on this list. I really love a good slow moody movie. It’s where the format really shines as far as I’m concerned. When you have 8 hours to advance a complex plot and introduce a bunch of characters now in a miniseries or season of shows, it’s sort of hard to compete. So it makes sense to me when a filmmaker realizes they don’t need to compete with that and just settles in to just complete a thought and tell a story well.
Great idea, because it’s less important to hold someone to account when they’re lying to become President. God it is so infuriating how much power loves to support power, fucking sociopaths.
100% agreed. I can’t even count on my lockscreen activating sometimes, why would I feel okay about this?
It was really hard to pull off the bandage but I finally did it. It was really death by 1000 cuts but the last one for me was when they started injecting ads (not the baked-in ads, mind you) into podcasts. Apparently paying for Spotify to remove ads to them only meant removing ads from the music. To insult their users like that was enough for me.
I’m skeptical of all that - surely they understand that roads carry more than just goods and services. It’s such a basic part of society that you’d have to be from another planet to be confused about that and build a whole argument based on it.
No I’m for term limits. Each presidential election the popular vote should go to decide the party that gets to nominate the next justice. The first one in has to retire at that same time.
I also think we should increase the size of the court and cycle in/out two every four years - somewhere around where we’d have 20 year term limits. Side bonus, I think it’d be a benefit for all of us that the court has a larger variety of voices and be more difficult to hack the way the GOP has this court.
Me too, maybe 1 in 15 or 20 is politics
