Live video director / réalisateur de direct
Mais aussi technicien du spectacle, souvent avec des jeunes. C’est pas ma casquette sur la photo.
I like big moving machines, trains, nuclear stuff, electric infrastructure, measuring and plotting things (CO2 ppm charts, thermal camera, GPX traces, #OSM…). ND
@Tuss Ooooh okay thanks!
@Tuss Damn, I was specifically looking for something better than the spirals. Too bad. Thanks anyway !
@Tuss Thanks ! To what model do you refer ? I’m interested in testing out one of those.
@jon_slider I said I *may* do that again. And yes, with some more precautions and in short lapses of time.
It is still an affordable light and I’m ok with testing its limits, especially while doing something productive and not effing around for the sake of it.
@jon_slider Yeah, I did not know at the time blinky modes were conflicting with thermal throttle. Now I may use it at full power again (while shooting), but turning it off between takes and cooling it in water.
@Reader9 I agree ! Someone get me a swimming pool
@solrize I will, if I get to work with fog machines. Could be sooner than a good foggy night.
@Reader9 I wasn’t aware of that ! Thank you for pointing it out.
@Tuss I think they’re shit too, the effective ones were probably banned in France too. Maybe for the better, being highly toxic things burning in close proximity to people. Non-“volatile chemical” solutions may be a better option.
