Genocide is illegal (I think, it’s kinda blurry for decades now). Don’t see those people concerned about it. I don’t think these people care about law. They bend it to their will, like they do with their tax-paying citizenry who vote and pay for them.

I don’t like this trend! War movies in 10-20 years will be boring. No Rambos, no Schwarzeneggers, no Spielberg and Tom Hanks emotional patriotism! No funny casual racism, no casual homophobia, no casual misoginy… Did Mark Hamil play a terrorist in Star Trek after all? The End of an Era. We’re gonna have to watch films about how a bribed White House politicant struggles to keep up with weapon manufacture demands while managing to convince his wife not to divorce him because she feels neglected since he’s never at home… directed by Clint Eastwood.
That’s boring. I’m out!
… “won’t support our key middle east partner any longer” …
lol. They will forget. We are forgetting faster and faster… the new generations are also not caring more and more. And we need oil. Lot’s of oil.
It’s all going as planned. What these butchers (not just Israel, also US and EU) are doing to Palestine today will just be a footnote of a ‘war against terrorists’ in few years.
This genocide is no freak accident (weakened Israeli defense systems my ass). All our politicians hands and by proxy our hands are steeped in blood… and the Nazis are louder and louder in Europe again… cheered on and supported by the mighty american and british media and war machines. All running on oil.
The ones that will still be remembering won’t have any platform to be seen or to act upon…
“A magical sky god war” is being financed by our taxes and Saudi royalty. There is no “holy war”. It was always about resources, political influence and greed. Religion is just a smoke screen.
Just because you got bored of one war, doesn’t mean this genocide should be overlooked.
War is fine as long as it’s not a “holy”?
As long as US and EU support you, you can do whatever you want. US and EU will even send you weapons, bombs and tanks to do it more efficiently. This is nothing new, and you will see this open genocidal behavior more often in the future, and their media will justify this mass murdering behavior tomorrow. Just make sure US and EU are supporting you, otherwise you are either a terrorist or commie and aren’t allowed to be a genocidal psychopath.
Our “democratically elected” and “lesser evil” politicians and industrialist are not human.
Our tax dollars and tax euros at work.
Sounds really good. As someone who never listened to much of Death Cab For Cutie, this might be the catalyst to do so…
I haven’t stopped listening to Big Thief since “U.F.O.F.”. I hope they release at least 5 more LPs. One of the few acts today I have full trust in delivering future masterworks of art.
Calm album for driving aimlessly at night on desolate and endless boulevards, filling the silence between you and your partner while the intersection lights flash at regular intervals… there is a beach at the end of a side road somewhere. All is beautiful and delicate.
8.5/10 - Will absolutely revisit this album a lot. It could have been just a few minutes longer.
There is no mood in which I can’t listen to PJ. Maybe while sleeping, but that’s debatable.
If you add an e to Maur, it becomes Mauer, so her name would in German mean: Melissa on the wall. Although Maur is also an archaic version of the word Mauer (wall), I think.
idk why, but I find it strange some artist would split the links for certain continents.
Is it copyright/DMCA? Are the songs different somehow? I can open both links, the one I posted (EU) has 71mil views and the US one has 21mil views…
All to prevent/accomplish what exactly?
Started reading few hours ago. Still in a room without a view with 2 robotic arms. That’s my weekend I guess.
Garage Rock Revival and Post-Punk Revival.
The Strokes, Arctic Monkeys, The White Stripes, Bloc Party, The Libertines, The National, The Kills, Franz Ferdinand, The Hives, Kings of Leon… I listen to a song here and there from these bands, but never have the patience for any of their whole albums. The only band from these genres I still listen to is Interpol.
I don’t know why, but I always felt these are my genres…
The only explanation I have is that these bands just aren’t inclined to experimentation and deviation from their own sounds, which might be important for me to revisit those albums…
I tried to listen to the whole album, but kept going back to this song… to this day that’s the only song I know of them. It’s really beautiful.
Alvvays nice to hear.
