On houses missing numbers: this is likely incomplete data in OSM and you could join the crowd to fix it. I recommend SCEE app, where you contribute by resolving questions nearby, earn points and compete. It’s actually fun :)

Cropping / framing the picture is the most impactful instrument. In this case I would crop unnecessary information (noise) out of the photo:

• reduce amount of the sky,
• cut from below to keep building nicely aligned in lower 2/3,
• remove a bit from the left so that the car is not pooling attention and to reduce green colour.

Picture will completely shift it’s attention and mood.

Sometimes I even make few different framings as copies and get more than one story.

Haven’t found Any paid or non-paid software for Android that would have rating/grading of photos.

Asked on Lemmy, tried almost every editing app there is.

Lightroom is the only one, and only with subscription, where you could do this.

Not FOSS alternatives for quick editing are Snapseed and if you have Pixel — Google Photos app.

It should be built in at this point. It’s annoying to apply userChrome.css tweaks to remove normal tabs and sidebar header.

Using Pixel 8 Pro for a week now.

Comparing to Pixel 7 Pro:

• Battery life has improved, now can sometimes squeeze 2 days of use.
• Camera is better in some modes and in the dark. Selfie camera feels much better.
• Performance is the same, but never gets hot or even warm.
• screen is completely flat now, corners rounded more.

Overall, no Bugs encountered so far,very smooth experience.

Even funnier with the front guy’s (Medic) patch saying ‘Shut the fuck up all of you’ in Ukrainian.

Most companies I worked with had a choice of the work laptop, usually Windows/Linux or MacBook. And the trick is, you cannot buy cheap MacBook. So the choice is using linux but with a terrible screen, unusable trackpad and bad hardware, or take MacBook and enjoy all premium.

So I always take MacBook and then ask for a local workstation where I will have linux with i3 / Sway WM.

I have a Samsung TV (was not my choice), and it’s a hell for privacy, software is terrible.

Now it has no access to any network, all features that could be disabled are disabled. I use CCwGTV as an OS for my apps, but that could be any dongle or PC.

Still the case, got my B197 driving license last week in Bavaria. You have 10 lessons with manual as part of your education, then the rest + exam on automatic. B197 allows to drive both, B allows automatic only.
