Sure it is now, but it was not always. Gentoo didnt just spring forth from the aether full-grown.
pre-alpha
The period of pre-0.1 that I reference above, ended in 2002 with the release of 0.1 Alpha. This is back when the idea of adding a binary installer was controversial in the gentoo community. That was 24 years ago, in case you are following along. So going on about the current state of Gentoo is not super relevant. I am glad it is better, but I am old enough to remember when it was a pretty gnarly ball of yarn and that is what I mentioned.

This reminds me of something I might have said of pre-alpha Gentoo days.

lol. This article is poorly written and transparent ragebait, without even the most basic grounding in economics.
edit: which is not to say the opinion is wrong, per se, but it is not grounded in a firm understanding of the topics the author wants to discuss.

CS 6 still works just fine

No rational reason that isnt treason, that is.

Calling them “war games” downplays the seriousness of what is happening and plays directly into their goals. These are literally invasion rehearsals.
China’s stated objective is to make these drills become indistinguishable from a real attack so that Taiwan becomes complacent and even ceases to defend against them. These are one of the many sub-threshold hybrid warfare attacks being carried out by Russia and China.
I never noticed before, but ex-lax gives you smooth movements.

Honeywell licenses their name for consumer products. They dont actually make that stuff anymore.
They sold the rights to make the magic wand about a decade ago. No longer Hitachi, alas.

“Gasoline-powered motorbikes are used widely in Hanoi, making them a major source of air pollution,” the city’s department of agriculture and environment official Le Thanh Thuy told local media on Dec 11.
The city will impose partial bans on gasoline-powered motorbikes in downtown areas from mid-2026 and will gradually expand the ban thereafter to fossil-fuel-powered cars.

The respondents said that overall, China is outpacing Korea in price competitiveness, productivity and government support. They added that the U.S. has greater competitiveness over Korea in brand power, key personnel and core technologies.

I assume because ASCII has a much smaller character set than unicode. ASCII fits in 7 bits, vs 21 bits for unicode.
The article presumably continues beyond the pay wall.
