That’s the point. Indian food is rarely vegan.

Because no other fan-bases have active content creators, it makes them feel like they only see Spurs related posts. They might also think this should be in the Spurs community, not in the general football community.
Please point to anywhere that I said anything about the usefulness of any of these majors or about their ability to pay off their loans or even whether the majors should be kept at this university.
You’re arguing with someone about something you created in your head.
I never said either of those things or advocated for keeping them. I only said they aren’t some weird, obscure majors.
It’s not as common now as it used to be, and even back then it wasn’t really common, but it’s kind of like the word “inauspicious.” I had never heard anyone use the word before, but then I went to India and every English speaking Indian seemed to use the word regularly. It was weird.
But yeah, indefatigable is a word I’ve heard before, both spoken in older movies and in older books.
No, that person is incorrect. They charge you to pick your seat. They don’t stop you from getting on the plane.
No, they charge you for picking a seat. They don’t stop you from boarding the plane. You can even pay less for a flight by buying your Spirit ticket at the airport to avoid a $23 passenger usage fee.
Except AirBnB by default shows the total price in searches before taxes, including the fees. These laws exclude taxes from being required to be shown. You don’t even have to click any options, it just shows you the total.
Yeah, it said both cutting and consolidating. They will probably create a “Foreign Language” major with a minor in German/French/etc. They will probably do the same with “Foreign Language Education” with a minor in a specific language.
$1500 for a bus ticket out of state seems pretty damn high (almost fraudulently high), but not as ridiculous as the headline makes it sound. What is ridiculous is trafficking 52,000 people who have no resources, no support, no contacts, no anything to someplace they didn’t choose to go to thousands of miles away.
I was expecting to see a lot of obscure or very niche majors, but French, German, Art History, and Religion are pretty well known majors.
Windows is not actually having a problem getting people to upgrade to Windows 11.
According to this article, they are. It took 2 years for Win10 to overtake Win7 and be more than 50% of the install base. After 2 years of Win11 being available, it only has 23% of the install base.
I have a tablet I only use for surfing the internet. That’s it. I don’t even use it for email. I never enabled Bitlocker, but it was either enabled by the factory or MS enabled it with an upgrade without asking. One day the machine asked me for a password that I didn’t remember ever setting. I was unable to use that machine until a full wipe, because Bitlocker had locked ever bit of data on the harddrive without a password I remember even being asked to set let alone remembering.
I was annoyed because I had to format and reinstall, but I didn’t lose anything. If that had been my main machine, though… holy shit would I have been furious.
That person is either a flat out liar, or they are incredibly anal and waste a lot of time looking at the connector and input every single time they connect a cable.
Your comment is very similar to what is felt by many MLS fans out there, including me. We love watching our league, not just our team.
However, the ratings for soccer fans overall in the US dwarf those of MLS fans. Most fans are either ONLY fans of their specific team plus European leagues, or are casual fans who just want to watch a game or two per week. Those two groups of fans want a consistent time slot where they can be sure there’s a game on. People who go to games in person also want a consistent time slot for games so they can plan in advance, but many of them aren’t like us and only want to watch their team. I used to be like that, too.
I have watched SO much less MLS this year because of the scheduling than I did last year or in the years before. Apple hasn’t released any ratings numbers, so I have no idea how well the scheduling has performed this year.
It sounds like the measures the government is taking there will be worthless and only a talking to point to the citizens who are actually being hurt by this. I still applaud any effort, but actions with teeth would be better.
What community? Nobody talks about anything here. There is a bot that posts stuff that nobody responds to. Also, in /r/soccer most of these game threads would be in a separate page, not on the main /r/soccer. Occasionally an outstanding goal or highly active game thread would make it to the main page, but most of the content was links to stories/analysis.
Yes, they are. So this isn’t the great feeling I have annually when PSG fails in the CL. I will say that Newcastle is run incredibly well now with a good plan for identifying talent that matches their play and without splashing a TON of money. That isn’t to say half the players they bought would have gone there without that oil money, or that they could have spent that money without it being from an oil state; but they have spent much less than PSG or City.
It’s kind of crazy, but I’m into it. The amount of money spent on logistics is going to be insane, though.
No, Dune is not easy to read and would be a terrible re-introduction to reading. I love that book and have read all of the original series, but the first page is enough that people put it down. It might be OK if you have seen one of the movies.
