This one really grinds my gears! I think it’s because the person can’t even be bothered to describe what they want you to do, just go fix it and don’t bother me with any details.

Interesting, I started with DeWalt, have never had 1 single issue and I have about 10 different tools. But I’ve always wanted to switch to Milwaukee because I like red better than yellow, but I’m in too deep with DeWalt 😂
Safety wise it’s perfectly safe. The male end is only energized if it detects that it’s actually connected to the grid, then it matches the sine wave of the grid. It can’t just electrocute you if you unplug it and touch the exposed pins.
I recently upgraded to the new GE all in one washer dryer. Removes a massive step of having to move clothes between dryer and washer. Toss em in, and 2 hours later they’re done. Best part is they can be tossed in before bed and ready in the morning for work!
I haven’t tried it but if it works the same as a mobile OS you long click to select. Single click to execute.
Edit: apparently that’s not how it works. There is a checkbox on every icon that you have to click directly on the check box to select/unselect.
I thought I was opting out of my account and my server. But nope, Plex is scraping up everything that’s on my server and shipping it in an email to other people including me.
I got the pop up. I disabled it. But I just got an email from Plex telling me everything my family member watched in the last week. This is complete shit!!
Just ordered my first one. Bambu P1S, SO stoked to get it!!
It’s been discovered that nearly all of the OLED panels on the LE model are made by a different company (not Samsung) and they are having high probability of dead pixels on arrival.
The etched screen on the 1TB and OLED diffuses the light and makes the OLED look worse too.
So at this point it would be best to order the 512gb model and if you want more storage just swap in a 2tb SSD instead.
Hate to break it to you but Japanese work culture and abuse is significantly worse than the US.
There’s also a reason for that too. The bag not only needs to be inflated with air to protect the chips, but it also has to have plenty of room for that air to expand and contract due to atmospheric pressure changes. For example, if you made the bag just big enough for the chips and enough air that when pushed or squished a bit it doesn’t cave in on the chips. And your manufacturing plant is at sea level. When those chip bags go on a truck and arrive at 8,000 feet in Colorado. All the bags would be popped because the air inside expanded far beyond the left over capacity of the bag, so POP!
Yep, all of us plebs want RCV. But the problem is in order to get it, we need one of two major parties in control to make the change. But they don’t want to make the change because they know if they do, us plebs will actually start voting for independent parties and they’ll lose their power. :(
We need Ranked Choice Voting at all levels including the presidency before we can have lots of different parties.
Probably because they know if it gets implemented they will get tossed out. What a shame.
Being blinded by headlights is already a solved problem for years now with matrix headlights. It is the US government that is full of old farts that don’t even understand what they are and how they work. We just need a government that can actually respond and update policy for new technology. Currently matrix led headlight tech is illegal in the US because of some headlight laws made in 1920…
And buying back the stock has the effect of making the stock price go up. And guess who gets the most stock? The CEO and C suite. They give themselves huge raises by doing this and it’s perfectly legal :(
Do you have lidar on your head? No, yet you’re able to drive with just two cameras on your face. So no lidar isn’t required. Not that driving in a very dynamic world isn’t very difficult for computers to do, it’s not a matter of if, it’s just a matter of time.
Would lidar allow “super human” driving abilities? Like seeing through fog and in every direction in the dark, sure. But it’s not required for the job at hand.
KDE Plasma. It came on my steam deck which was my first intro to it, it blew me away and installed it on my laptop and finally ditched Windows shortly after. Works great for me.
