  • On his part, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio claimed “Israel” took “unilateral action against Iran,” warning that Tehran should not target the US in response to the Israeli attack.

“Our top priority is protecting American forces in the region. Israel advised us that they believe this action was necessary for [their] self-defense,” Rubio stated.

“President Trump and the Administration have taken all necessary steps to protect our forces and remain in close contact with our regional partners,” he added.

“Let me be clear: Iran should not target US interests or personnel."

Oh? Word? Cool so it’s just between Iran and the zionist entity calling itself ‘israel’. So if Iran decides to shoot a bunch of missiles and drones at this entity, US naval forces will not shoot those down or attempt to disrupt their course right? RIGHT? RIGHT?!?! Because that would make you a party to the conflict wouldn’t it. Fucking special privilege demanding fucks.

  • I mean critical support for Iran of course but why are they so bad at this after all that has happened? After Soleimani, after they got Nasrallah, after the pager attacks, after years of zionist agents on motorbikes machine-gunning their scientists. You’d think op-sec would be higher priority.

They can’t stop them from flying their old f-16s or whatever junk the IOF has into their airspace. They can’t detect them in time to shelter important people. And worse than that they are so compromised despite knowing in advance for a near fact that attack is imminent via this very means that they can’t hide their people properly from these attacks from the air meaning the zionists either have intelligence that knows where they are day to day (possibly hour to hour) and safe locations or that they continued going about their business in the most obvious places despite this threat and knowing they cannot stop it.

I know it’s a bit armchair general but if you know you can’t stop their air force, you know they’re coming to attack you. You even have signals of warning like silly nerds on this site posting about increases in pizza orders at DC places the military planners and late night intelligence meeting ghouls like 6 hours ahead of time. You have the US evacuating personnel from bases and embassies in the region. You should at least shelter the people they’re likely to target yes? The top leadership, the scientists? And keep that location a secret.

Honestly the zionists, I hate it, but the zionists have been doing incredible lately on a strategic level. They’ve taken out all their enemies save Iran and Yemen and depending on how bad this was and how many top leadership were killed they might have done a lot of damage to Iran. They are objectively in a stronger position than they have been since the modern resistance formed with Hezbollah as part of it.

And I predict Iran’s retaliation will not be that spectacular. That the US will shoot down most of it with their advanced aegis cruisers parked off the coast (which is why tactically Iran should target those with their most advanced weapons as they’re de-facto combatants but they won’t).

  • It really is a thing that every time the current situation that started on Oct 7 that every time Bibi is in trouble no matter how close to a deal or whatever suddenly there’s an escalation from the zionists. They like Ukraine are run by a corrupt and deranged man who knows if the war ends their ass is toast. In the case of the zionist entity this is mostly what the population of settlers want anyways even if it’s causing problems for the US (much like Ukraine is causing problems now given the interruptions to war stockpiling for China).

  • Literally the other way around. The west wanted the USSR and Nazi Germany to be mutually destroyed so it could come in, kill off the communist state and do some picking clean of Germany. What happened was Hitler went west first instead of east, probably not the worst move considering as soon as he hit the USSR the western armies would have likely mobilized and invading western Europe would have been more difficult but it’s the not the worst move in a losing strategy kind of thing.

Anyways this is why the US did some lend-lease (not free by the way, USSR paid for that stuff) to attempt to keep the USSR up in the fight longer because they didn’t think they were as strong as they ended up being and wanted them to weaken Hitler for them.

Once the USSR started winning bricks started being shat. The US did not invade Normandy France and open up another front because they finally decided they had to get rid of this guy. They did it and pushed to Germany because they didn’t want the Soviets liberating all of capitalist Europe. They feared this. Many of those countries would have democratically voted for socialism after the actions of their socialist resistance and because of the way things were going before then.

What does the US do after the war? Show they never hated the Nazis. Install them into prominent positions in NATO, Western German government, etc. Bring them over to the US via paperclip. They launch Gladio, sponsor a military coup in Greece to kill leftists and communists, suppress communist and socialist movements for decades in those countries the US “liberated”.

  • Eh. The hearings in the second red scare, HUAC, the Hollywood blacklist. They can haul whoever they want in front of congress and send them to prison and that especially applies to communists in front of special fascist panels. Not saying they should fold but uh they could absolutely start identifying and arresting and imprisoning leadership to say nothing of murdering them.

So it’s not necessarily so simple as asserting their rights, worth trying but you need a better plan than that because this guy isn’t going to go “aww shucks” and back down over that. They’re in full press the envelope of legality mode with all these actions so it’s impossible to know for sure where they end up.

  • Honestly they didn’t live in the type of functional surveillance states that we live in. More than just technologies and techniques which have vastly improved as well as coordination the ability to hunt down enemies of the state there’s also the fact the states they were in were not as shall we say functional or solid as ours. They were weakened states in some internal disarray.

For this reason I think unfortunately revolution is pretty much hopeless and impossible in the imperial core until external conditions such as the collapse of imperialism and the US dollars and an overall weakening of the US state takes place and weaken these systems of surveillance and control and oppression. Until that happens, until they start rotting, things no longer working and not being repaired for weeks type of situation they’re just too strong. That or we’d need way more than the 10-20% of society that usually sides with a revolution, like 50% and at least 30% willing to take violent and coordinated action and I don’t see that in the US near-term so I think rot is the more likely to come and weaken and blind them and eventually in that decay room for things happening is found.

  • Looking more into it, it seems this might just be the short term agreement until they hammer out a final deal? Hard to see how they get Trump to cave and lower that 55% substantially once they start delivering rare earths again and the US builds up a stockpile.

I think it is interesting to think about how this would fuck the consumer market but it might still be just low enough maybe that industrial inputs for US manufacturing can take the hit and pass the cost on to their end-customers which means it doesn’t destroy US industry in the way the 100% tariffs do. Though it kind of seems like a negotiating with an asshole tactic where they won’t drop unilaterally so you just basically wager away most of your own tariffs and ask them for an exact subtraction of same and they agree to that as “fair”.

I guess we’ll have to see how it shakes out and if there is a revolt in the US over it that forces Trump’s hand. If it works it works, if it doesn’t it looks bad for China to do this but I feel they’re going to say it was done in good faith. Perhaps if Trump isn’t willing to swallow his pride then they claim they couldn’t reach a deal and portray themselves as the more reasonable party by virtue of accepting things like this. So maybe my first impression wasn’t quite right. We’ll see.

  • Yeah at least demand they stop the public war-mongering.

They’re still going to go to war with China but China should try to force the issue and say no more public statements of an openly aggressively hostile nature, at least be oblique about it. The US would never go for that though as they need public support and to build that idea in the mind early but it seems an easy issue to play hardball on. To kind of point out that China doesn’t even talk of invading or warring with the US yet they still slap restrictions on any company that uses the same catering business as the Chinese military for being military affiliated. Like they can’t have it both ways where it’s fair to sanction and try to strangle anyone even tangentially connected to the Chinese military because they have to be weakened but at the same time can openly demand access to materials used to build weapons that they’re stating openly they intend to use on China in a coming war.

Unless there’s some secret aspect of this agreement it certainly feels foolish on China’s part.

    I mean:

Trump indicated the U.S. would impose 55 percent tariffs on Chinese goods, while China would impose a 10 percent tariff on U.S. products.

That’s caving. 55 percent makes Chinese products noncompetitive and unaffordable for Americans. Might as well agree to help pack up some of the factories and equipment and ship it to India for the US as well because that’s the effect of this. It forces reshoring or friendshoring far more effectively than the Democratic grift of handing out money. For small goods it might not matter but iPhones, computers, computer parts, televisions. People can’t afford to pay 55% more on a $1,000 purchase so it forces these companies to move production to India and other countries and once they start doing that there’s no reason to keep separate lines open in China just for European markets or something.

They better have gotten at least a secret agreement that Tiktok can stay, doesn’t have to sell its business, doesn’t have to sell or reveal its algorithm, etc. Otherwise China is really getting a bad deal here and being bullied.

  • It’s been winning for years and yet it’s been going on for years.

There are secondary goals we must recall of weakening Russia, of deterring it from wanting to fight the west in future, of profits for arms makers, and of drawing the EU further under the US’s domination. At this point I really have no idea how much longer this is going to go on. The west can trickle enough weapons in there to keep them fighting Russia for years at this pace. Sure Russia can probably secure the provinces that voted to join it, maybe even by the end of this year but they won’t have peace, the Ukrainians will continue launching terrorist drone raids deep into Russia. They’ll continue assassinations using bombs on cars and bikes deep in Russia. For Russia to win and have peace they have two options: 1) The Ukrainians come to their senses and agree to Russia’s terms for peace which seems increasingly unlikely given how deranged Zelensky and his Nazi cohort are and the unwillingness of the EU to give up the fight 2) fight all the way to Kiev and beyond, to the country’s middle and east until their army and ability to field one and operate as a government is undone (they will continue to operate as a government in exile I’m sure but a government in exile can’t effectively mobilize and maintain an army back home) and until Russia can install a government of its liking.

What’s particularly problematic is some recent surveys showing the percentage of Ukrainians who want to keep fighting is pretty high and hasn’t been dropping a lot lately. They also haven’t yet started conscripting women which would be something the soy-facing NATOids would love for propaganda purposes in the same way its used to gloss the IOF.

Option 2 is what the west seems to be counting on forcing Russia into with the hopes they’ll get tired of it after a few more years and agree to some sort of compromise with better terms than they’re offering now and they can declare it a victory because they never stopped fighting. Certainly if Russia is forced into this the fighting could could on for many more years, the rest of this decade seems quite possible and there is a chance the EU hopes to keep the war burning until they’re “ready” for this war with Russia they’ve declared an intent to wage in the near future as soon as they’re able.

Option 2 also counts on opening some amount of arms production in Ukraine which is already underway so they can self-supply. They’re already producing their own drones. Frankly I don’t see a knock-down moment coming. Russia isn’t interested in the kind of mass mobilization required to deliver that so it’s just going to be slow attrition. It’s a shame there are no proxy forces Russia can sponsor to conduct terrorist attacks deep into the EU to give them a taste of their own medicine and push them to stop helping Ukraine in exchange for a similar stand-down. Funny how all the terrorist groups are western proxies like ISIS.

Basically Russia has a tough road ahead of it. More terrorist attacks, many spectacular in nature will eventually get through. More assassinations are likely as well. But they don’t have a choice, the best option is sticking with the path they have though it’s not going to result in a quick defeat for the west like we’d all hoped.

  • Saw, Luthen, and Andor I think were not liberals. Saw was like a trot or MLM (not MZT) who kind of was going off the rails a bit in terms of theory and practice but he wasn’t a liberal. Luthen wasn’t a liberal which was why they had to sideline and kill him off. Andor probably wanted more than what he got which was being a pawn of liberals but wasn’t strong in theory though I think would have gladly been a foot-soldier for a more socialist rebellion led by Luthen by the end.

Mon Mothma absolutely was a liberal’s liberal as were the Jedi, as were pretty much all the people on Yavin who were shown in leadership roles. So basically Mon Mothma should have been allowed to die (or been killed I guess because she knew too much), Luthen should have engineered killing off the rebel liberal leadership likely using Andor, held theory reading classes, and they shouldn’t have trusted any Jedi and maybe things would have gone better.

  • Yeah people forget that when the US was fighting USSR in image wars and the Little Rock Nine spectacle went down, the governor there tried to block them using his national guard and in response Kennedy or Johnson or whoever federalized them, sent them back to base and sent in the US airborne 101 and there wasn’t shit angry whitey could do about it but seethe and they were clearly very angry about it but not quite enough to try an insurrection (that would have been crushed most likely and we must remember that was racist white people who would’ve gotten the boot, maximum reluctance).

The president can absolutely do this and governors cannot do shit. Federal authority is pretty much supreme unless you get a court order that they’re breaking some arcane legal rule about it and then only if the president cares to obey that.

What states CAN do is have a non-national guard kind of state guard militia. Thing is those don’t get federal funds, can’t really use federal military gear, and tend to be just a bunch of good old boys with rifles used to intimidate minorities. But even those can’t really do anything if the national guard gets deployed, the feds can brush them aside and unless they’re willing to fight and die against the feds they’re going to get out of the way.

So the problem then is there is no left party that would ever punish Republicans or cause them to want restraint on use of these powers by abusing them towards them.

Basically if racist whites angry about black kids being in school with their white kids last century didn’t find a way to stop this kind of thing there really isn’t any legal way or trickery that can be used here to stop or sabotage this is my conviction.

  • California should absolutely cut off funds to the federal government if this happens and start just paying for their own shit. Suddenly they’ll have a huge budget surplus.

If I recall correctly the problem is at least in terms of income tax that’s automatically withheld for most people. Same thing with corporate taxes. You’d have to get thousands, tens of thousands of companies to agree to violate federal law and face massive federal backlash including you know jail for the owners for this to work. Sorry to say but those companies aren’t going to go along with it. They’re going to continue sending Washington DC the withholdings from employee paychecks and from their own owed taxes because they don’t want that kind of trouble and are not revolutionaries.

In olden times this might have been more practical for the state as they could just hold up physical money cars leaving with this stuff but these days its all electronic so there’s really no border to police.

  • Honestly yeah this is kind of a game over for the hopes of revolution type tech if taken far enough in terms of interfacing with things like memory if they have enough time for mass deployment. You could instantly detect anti-capitalist thought and report it or detonate the chip, perhaps even program and indoctrinate people repeatedly depriving them of free will. If it gets to the point the capitalists can do that we’re fucked, it’s just over for us. That plus AI plus automation and robotics is a bad mix. Under socialism it would of course be amazing and to great benefit but I deeply fear what happens if this tech gets advanced enough to more than read but also write which seems inevitable. At that point they just pressure the population into them, especially those most likely to revolt while allowing top white collar workers to opt out for the time being.

I don’t know, no good answer, if China doesn’t do this work someone else will but I almost think it’s the type of thing that should be done in absolute secret by security vetted individuals. There’s no way the west allows Chinese brain chips anywhere near us so we’ll never see the benefit anyways.

  • Blaming Russia and “standing with Ukraine” is calling for attacks on Russia. Whether it’s supporting arms or economic warfare, either way you’re on the wrong side. It’s a myopia from these propagandized liberals who just see Russia “invading” wholesome 100 Ukraine who did literally nothing wrong and therefore Russia is a bully. Look into it further? Look into the history? Listen to Russia’s claims? NO! Those are just propaganda.

These same people will be against China if the US literally gets on TV and says “I told them to declare independence” and then they do so and then the US lands half Marine regiment there and announces “we’ll land American nuclear weapons there next month” and China then invades they’ll see China as the aggressors against wholesome 100 independent democratic smol bean Taiwan.
