Not great against hard shelled insects in general. It doesn’t phase Junebugs unless you catch them right and they lose some legs but that feels cruel even for stinkbugs.

Sounds like my Unifi experience with the old CloudKeys that liked to brick themselves if the wind blew in a way they disliked. Everything still ran fine, but I couldn’t manage any of it till I factory reset it all. I think it ran like that for 3mo before I could be bothered 😅

This is actually a pretty large chunk of the world building of the manga/anime Beastars. The first bit mystery/plot is who killed and ate someone at the MCs school.

Ends up being a reoccurring plot device, being a predator (MC is a timber wolf iirc) living amoungest prey (rabbits, deer, etc…) and how one deals with the drive to kill.

Yea, throwing a new mechanic at players during something conclusive seems like an I Wanna Be The Guy kinda masocore move.

I use Paprika, I like how it can strip recipes off websites so I can save and organize them without having to read about how this was the favorite soup of the authors dead grandmother and they make it for their kids every holiday to keep the memory alive.

Pretty sure that’s literally Denuvos pitch. They don’t expect it to be uncracked forever, just last long enough to maximize initial sales and then eventually remove it when it’s done its job. It’s like a padlock on a bike, keeps honest people honest but won’t actually stop a real thief.
