This actually happened to me a couple of years ago. This woman came into my office and after we were finished with business, she said something like “I have two tickets to the baseball game. Would you like to come with me?” And I was like “No thanks. I don’t like baseball very much.” then turned away and started working on something else.
After she left, everyone in my office said “OMG she just asked you out!” I didn’t get that at all and totally missed it. Besides, I’m married.
I wouldn’t even know where to get a diagnosis as an adult. All the resources in my area seem offer evaluations to children only.
