It’s nice seeing how much Lemmy is growing. I knew there would be an influx of new users from the 30th, but it’s honestly nice seeing more comments overall and posts getting upvoted.

New articles will still reference tweets, as people and communities are still engaging on there. You can view an embedded tweet in an article, but you can’t read any of the replies to the tweet nor view the tweet as a whole.

It’s nice, I just wish there was more activity. Hopefully it will grow overtime. My concern is the barrier of entry for new users. The whole “different instances” thing can be quite confusing.

I normally lurk, but I feel more comfortable posting here than on Reddit for some reason. On reddit I would mostly just upvote or downvote posts and move on.

Do you think people will actually convert to Lemmy? Or do you think they’ll just end up going back to reddit?
