I don’t really like live streams, much prefer edited content. So while I might from time to time check in on a creator I like on Twitch, it’s rare. Also, the platform kind of sucks. YouTube isn’t great, but with premium it’s bearable and the family plan makes it affordable for our household since we don’t do any other streaming services.

They do exist here, just not very common. But in my family at least, every person has one in their kitchen. We are big tea drinkers though. I use mine a lot to heat broth for Ramen.

Not exactly op’s scenario but I had a client once who was a landlord. I was delivering some papers for him to sign off on some stuff, and he had me come into his kitchen to go over them. On his dining room table was piles of cash, like a foot tall, at least 200 stacks. Had to be hundreds of thousands of dollars. He casually walks past the table and throws a sheet over the money like “nothing to see here.” Years later I read he got busted with several hundred pounds of drugs and illegal guns, so guy was into some pretty bad shit.

Deleted Facebook, instagram, 14 years ago, twitter in 2019, reddit during the api bs, stopped being the only one maintaining relationships, and finally, stopped caring about most things and people/dram I have no power to fix or change.

I was more referring to your final statement. Those who take and take and never give back to use you with little regard for your own happiness or safety.
